As you progress in ShinKen-Do, you also discover that the mental and emotional balance required to excel in ShinKen-Do carries over into your daily life, helping you focus and cope with the problems you may face.
Practice of ShinKen-Do is a way of living and a philosophy of life. People who train in the martial arts tend to quietly avoid conflict and demonstrate no need to confront. In general, studies show that there is an inverse relationship between the length of time students of the martial arts have trained and their involvement in violent encounters.
When a person trains, he/she becomes a constructive member in society.
