Martial Arts

Martial Arts can be divided into 3 categories:

Martial Arts, Fighting Arts and Self Defence

Martial arts
Karate, Kung fu, Aikido, Judo, Ju Jitsu and other forms are referred to as “Arts” because they are not merely combat-techniques but are also an expression of an Eastern “spiritual” philosophy.
Bowing, Discipline, Respect, are strong traits in oriental martial arts training.

Fighting Arts
Thai Kickboxing and other a similar forms of Fighting although mostly from a sporting nature they apply mostly offensive techniques that serves a purpose but to annihilate the attacker without recognition of restraint or control.

Self defence
Self-defense is about effectively ending an attack, quickly and with minimum damage to yourself or to the attacker.
If you have other intentions or motivations, then you are not defending yourself, you’re fighting and if you are fighting, you are just as guilty of misconduct as your so-called attacker, because you are both operating from the same selfish motives. While Self-defense is legal, fighting is not.

Violence is an extreme. Our aim is to defending oneself without intent on causing injury to the attacker. When and where to hit for maximum results appropriate for the situation (justifiable use of force).
